With heavy rainfall over the past day, and the forecast of significant downpours around the State over the next 24 hours, Greyhound Racing NSW wishes to advise participants of the track situation at each of the racing venues over the next 72 hours.
Please note that this update is of 9am on Thursday April 7, and GRNSW will update all participants if the situation changes at any of the venues.
· Goulburn – Have had 8-10mm rain and heavy rain is forecast, but the track surface remains in is good condition.
· The Gardens – Track is in good order, and currently not as much rain in Hunter.
· Wagga – Track is fine. No rain in the immediate forecast.
· Gosford – Track in good order, not as much rain about. 30-40mm in the last 12 hours on the Central Coast. Light raining today and will watch over next 12 hours
· Wentworth Park - Heavy rain overnight continued with 140mm in last 24 hours. Medium ruts in track surface and catching pen present at the moment. Further rain continuing today so will restrict remediation unless the rain stops. GRNSW will assist today and Tomorrow and additional GBOTA staff have been called in to give the track best chance of being in good order for Saturday.
· Richmond - Quite a bit of rain but no real issues for the straight at the moment. Should be no issues Saturday morning.
