Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
They don’t get a lot bigger than weeks like this with TAB Million Dollar Chase now in full swing, and the big Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg Final night at Wentworth Park on Saturday April 9.
Let’s take a look at all the features big and small, scheduled for this week.
At Wentworth Park on Wednesday, April 6, we have 5th grade 1-3 win heats over the 520m with a $6,000 final.
On the same day at Taree over the 537m we have the Taree Cup heats which culminate with a $10,000 final. Also on the card are 1-3 win heats over the 314m with a $4,000 final.
At Dapto on ThursdayApril 7, we have 520m, 1-3 win heats with a $2,500 final.
Also on Thursday, April 7 we have TAB MDC Regional Heats over 516m at Dubbo, along with 5th grade heats over the 318m with a $2,000 final.
On the same day Casino will have 4/5th grade heats over the 300m with a $10,000 final.
On Friday, April 8, Wagga Wagga has their Regional Heats of the MDC over the 525m, as well as Non-Grade heats over the 320m with a $5,500 final.
The Gardens host their MDC Regional Heats over the 515m on Saturday, April 9, as do Grafton on the same day over the 450m. Grafton will also have maiden heats over the 450m with a $4,000 final.
That night at Wentworth Park there will be a Non-Grade bitches only stake over the 520m with a $12,000 winner final.
On Monday April 11, both Bathurst (over 520m) and Maitland (450m) will host their respective heats of the Million Dollar Chase Regional Heats, while on Tuesday, April 12 Gosford host their Million Dollar Chase Regional Heats over the 515m.
Also on Tuesday, April 12, Bulli host 1-3 win heats over the 340m with a $3,000 final, while Casino on the same day have 411m maiden heats with a $2,000 final.
