Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) can announce today that Finish On Lure racing will return to Richmond later this month.
Before the outbreak of COVID-19, the Richmond club was conducting highly popular and successful Finish On Lure meetings every Sunday, and those meetings will now return on June 21.
GRNSW and the Greyhound Welfare & Integrity Commission (GWIC) announced on March 13 that all Finish On Lure meetings would be suspended immediately following a number of cases of canine coronavirus around the country, in an effort to avoid any potential of spreading the virus.
GRNSW and GWIC introduced COVID-19 restrictions soon after, but following the easing of restrictions this week, a decision has been made to recommence Finish On Lure racing.
Finish On Lure meetings will again be held every Sunday at Richmond from June 21.
