There are a few smart types engaged in race 9 so despite the small field it should prove a very competitive affair. MR. SHIRE (7) isn't a reliable beginner but he handles all distances and is good from wide draws, he's top pick but SIXSENSE (2) is suited in the small field and is a genuine threat from SHINY BRIGHT (1) and GOOD ODDS BRICKY (5).
