Interesting race with a number of stayers dropping back in trip. CLOSER TO RAIN (2) was impressive when winning at Angle Park last start. Looks suited to the big track and is the one to beat. LOT OF POISE (5) looks the leader from this alley but will be tiring late. ASTON ALPHA (4) owns a 29.84 PB this trip and recent 595m form has been solid.
