Both COSMIC RHINO (6) and DAVEY (6) are coming off defeats in stronger races at WPK but both are suited in the small field here and are drawn to improve. Cosmic Rhino is selected over Davey because she's normally a more reliable beginner. There are other chances though including MARY'S SHADOW (7), CHOOKYARD SHIFTY (3) and GUNNADOO ROCKER (8).
