$100 Bonus Offer To Begin At Dubbo February 19

By GRNSW
Not only will the Dubbo Greyhound Club introduce the double-arm lure at their race meeting next Monday, but they have also added a unique bonus for trainers with runners at the meeting.

With a strategy of reinvesting their increased sponsorship revenue back into the industry, the Dubbo Club will randomly reward trainers at some of their meetings throughout the year by paying additional money for pre-determined placings. This will start from the meeting on Monday February 19.

The Dubbo committee have decided that at nominated meetings throughout the year, they will offer $100 to the trainers of greyhounds which finish in specific places.

“It might be second, or third, or fifth, or last,” Dubbo President Shayne Stiff said.

“We were fortunate to receive extra money through the sponsorship deal with Ladbrokes (Entain) and we wanted to give back to the local trainers who have supported us. We thought this was a novel way of doing it.”

The finishing place will not be announced until after the fields are released.

At the first meeting for the promotion next Monday the trainer of each of the greyhounds which finish last, will receive an additional $100.
