Like many Maiden features around the State, the Richmond Maiden Series - run each November - is always well supported by local trainers, and has subsequently produced many handy winners.

Brilliant stayer Poco Dorado was drawn as reserve for the Final in 2017, but gained start and was dynamic, breaking her maiden status in a best of the night 30.51s.

The Jodie Lagogiane-trained Double Back was equally impressive the following year winning the Maiden Final and leaving the likes of Feral Franky and Good Odds Buddy in his wake.

In 2019, it was Rob Tyler's Zipping Brady saluting over a talented field, many who have already gone on to successful careers.
