Twisted Cuddles Primed For First Dapto Win

By Peter Davis
Slick beginner Twisted Cuddles has already posted seven wins from just 16 starts and, at Dapto on Thursday, the Kiama-based daughter of Collision is drawn to open her account at the Showgrounds circuit.

High speed is her calling card and, before turning 22 months of age, Twisted Cuddles had posted five wins – all at Nowra over 365m including a sharp 20.57 effort.

In four tries at Dapto over 520m, Twisted Cuddles has managed a place only twice yet her second to a rampant Analysing on December 9 was first class.

She tackled a quality line-up (from box six) last time and rode a hefty bump from Analysing at the first turn to still post 29.95 herself when finishing 4 ¼ lengths away in a fast 29.64.

The move to box one is a massive plus for Twisted Cuddles and she’s expected to take control early on and, plainly, sail clear.

Race five on the 10-event card, the $5000 to-the winner GRNSW Middle Distance Series over 600m, whets the appetite.

ZIPPING Sapporo never threatened from box four when fourth to Smart Fernando over 618m At Richmond on December 3 but she moves to box one on Thursday and will attract punters' attention.

Honest all-distance performer Trouble At Mill ran the smart Angel Glow to a half length in a fast 34.29 at Dapto on December 9 and is well positioned in box two. He’s a major player.

ZIPPING Sapporo’s kennelmate Where’s Rocky is also in the mix. He tackled Free For All company at Dapto on November 11 when just under one length away in 34.69.

The outing was Where’s Rocky’s first at 600m and, no doubt, there’s scope for improvement.

The first race at Dapto gets underway at 7.10pm and gate entry is free.
