Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) advises that it has received notification from the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory of the presence of Boldenone and Androsta-1, 4-diene-3, 17-dione in the sample taken from Ninja Turtle after it won the Welcome to Newcastle Greyhounds at The Gardens meeting on 24 January 2015.
Trainer Troy Donaldson has been advised of the irregularity, with the reserve portion of the sample forwarded to another accredited laboratory for further confirmatory analysis. Upon confirmation or otherwise, an inquiry into the matter will be held at a date to be fixed.
