Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) has announced the fields for the Group 1 Macro Meats Temlee, Rookie Rebel and Zoom Top The Meadows on February 15.

A panel – made up of representatives from The Meadows and the GRV grading department – had the task of shifting through the 61 original invites to decide the make-up of the three feature races.

The meeting at The Meadows on Saturday night, February 15, is the start of the three-week Australian Cup Carnival, where over $1 million in prizemoney will be on offer, leading into the Group 1 Maurice Blackburn Lawyers Australian Cup (535m) on March 1, where the winner will pocket a cool $250,000.

Western Australian chaser Dyna Nalin (pictured with trainer Paul Stuart) will be attempting to become the first greyhound to win both Group 1 sprint invitationals at The Meadows when he lines up in the Temlee after taking out the Topgun in October last year.
