Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
We begin with Temora on Wednesday 17th April, where there are 330m 5th Grade 1-4 Win 5th Grade Heats ($5,000 Non Penalty Final) and 457m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Heats ($5,000 Non Penalty Final). There is extra prize money for graded races over 457m & 570m.
Also on Wednesday, at Richmond, there is a 520m Pathways ($4,000 Winner) as well as 520m 1-3 Win Heats ($5,000 Non Penalty Final). There is extra prize money for all races and all races over 622m & 722m will carry city-class prize money.
At Goulburn on Friday 19th April we'll see 440m 0-1 Win Heats leading to a $4,000 Non Penalty Final. At Wentworth Park on Friday there are 520m Maiden Heats with a $6,000 Final and a 520m Wentworth Park Battlers - worth $4,000 to the winner.
Saturday morning 20th April begins at the Richmond Straight, we'll see Dogs Only Maiden Heats and Bitches Only Maiden Heats - both with $1,500 Finals.
It's G1 Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg Final night at Wentworth Park on Saturday night, which is sure to draw much excitement, but also on Saturday, Grafton is highlighted by the Northern Rivers Cup Final! The card will also hold 350m 5th Grade 1-2 Win Heats ($2,200 Non Penalty Final) and 450m 5th Grade Maximum 150 points Heats ($2,700 Non Penalty Final).
Sunday 21st April sees Nowra with important 520m Non-Grade Nowra Puppy Classic Heats - leading to a $40,000 Final! The card will also feature 520m Maiden Heats leading to a $3,000 Final. Broken Hill on Sunday features 375m Non-Grade Heats leading to a $2,200 Final.
At Maitland on Monday 22nd April, there are 400m 5th Grade Heats leading to a $2,000 Non Penalty final, and finally at Bulli on Tuesday 23rd April, we'll see 472m 0-2 Win Heats ($3,000 Final).
