Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
We begin at Richmond on Wednesday, August 16, with 320m Maiden Heats featuring a $1,500 Final. Also on Wednesday at Wentworth Park, there are 520m 5th Grade Bitches only Heats ($6,000 Final) and 520m 5thGrade Dogs only Heats ($6,000 Final)
At Casino on Thursday, August 17 we see 411m Non-Grade (1/2/3/4th Grade) Heats, leading to a $2,500 Final, and Dapto on Thursday there are 520m 5th Grade Heats, with a $5,000 Final.
Up to The Gardens on Saturday, August 19, the meeting will feature 515m 1-3 Win Heats with a $3,000 Final.
We go west on Sunday, August 20 to Broken Hill, which features 375m Non Grade Heats leading to a $2,000 Final. Also on Sunday, at Grafton, there are 450m 0-1 Win Heats ($2,700 Final).
On Monday, August 21 at Nowra, there are 365m Non-Grade Heats ($3,650 Final), and at Maitland, we'll see 450m 4/5th Grade Heats ($5,300 Final).
At Bulli on Tuesday, August 22, there will be 472m 5th Grade Bulli to Wentworth Park Heats with a $4,000 Final - and don't forget, this is an extra prize money meeting for graded races over 472m, 515m & 590m.
Trainers should check the calendar on thedogs.com.au site for specific conditions that may be applicable to some events.
