GRNSW's Racing Week Ahead

By GRNSW
There is always plenty happening for greyhound participants both in and out of the industry, and that has only increased in recent times.

To help keep everyone across some of the upcoming events, and make sure you don’t miss anything, each Friday afternoon Greyhound Racing NSW will publish a Weekly Update, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.

While the big Group events will always receive extra coverage, and the calendar on thedogs.com.au will remain the place where participants can see all the upcoming racing, the Weekly Update will hand pick a few of the smaller features which may entice participants.

First up this week, participants should be aware that nominations for the Coonamble Carnival will close over the next week. Nominations for the meeting on Wednesday, January 26 close on Monday, the Thursday, January 27 meeting closes on Tuesday, the meeting on Friday, January 28 closes on Wednesday and nominations for the final Coonamble Carnival meeting on Sunday, January 30, close on Thursday.

Next Friday, January 22, Richmond will hold 5th Grade heats over 400m with a $7,000 to the winner final, and the Wagga Wagga club has programmed 4/5th Grade heats over 400m with the final winner collecting $2,300 and a straw of Barcia Blue Boy.

On Saturday January 22, LADBROKES GARDENS have 400m Masters heats with the final a $5,900 to the winner event.

The Grafton club will stage heats of a 5th grade 1-3 win event next Sunday, January 23, with a $2,000 to the winner final, then on Monday, January 24, Bathurst have 520m Maiden heats with a $5,000 to the winner final plus a jackpot, and Nowra will host 5th Grade heats over the 365m trip with a $2,500 to the winner final.

Please remember that nominations can now only be made online through the OzChase online portal here.
