GRNSW & GWIC Update on Face Masks

By GRNSW
Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) and the Greyhound Welfare & Integrity Commission (GWIC) wish to advise all participants that face masks will be made available for all participants to wear at NSW race meetings.

While the State Government and NSW health authorities are yet to make it compulsory to wear face masks in public, GRNSW and GWIC strongly recommend that all participants wear face masks while attending race meetings at all venues.

GRNSW has facilitated with a supplier, to have masks available for every participant to obtain upon entry to each venue, and the roll out of masks will commence from Thursday, August 6.

Participants also have the option, if they prefer, to bring and wear their own face masks at the racetrack.

Masks will also be available for racetrack staff and other patrons on course, and it is also strongly recommended they wear masks at the venue.

All COVID-19 biosecurity measures will remain in place at all NSW racetracks, including temperature testing at the gate of venues, and everyone is required to continue social distancing.
