Beef Week is a huge week in Casino and the greyhounds are not forgotten with the running each May of the Casino Beef Week Cup.

Run over the 484m trip, the race has attracted many smart sprinters to the Casino circle.

In 2018 Darren Russell crossed the border and won with Go Lassie Go, defeating crowd favourite, Terry Duncan's Red Coat.

In 2019 it was a win for local Warren Kempshall when Modified Trunk took out the Cup, defeating another fan favourite, the Evelyn Harris-trained grand old campaigner Cosmic Bonus.

In 2021 the brilliant Louis Rumble trained by leading mentor Steve Kavanagh was fairly away but them muscled through to lead on the first turn and then was dazzling, go on to win by 7 1/2 lengths in 27.35s. Louis Rumble would go on to become one the better sprinters in NSW with 28 wins and 14 placings from 55 starts and just under $250,000 in prizemoney.

In front of a big crowd in 2022, local star Integrity Mate was stunning with a six length success.

Jumping fairly from box 6, Integrity Mate was able to work into second around the first turn before powering to the lead on the side and racing away from his rivals for a dominant victory.
