Non-Graded Heat 400m (Other)

Best 16 + Reserves. Trainers MUST nominate into the heats to be considered. Winners of heats qualify for the final at Goulburn on 29/7. If less than 2 heats are run, the 2nd place getter will qualify. Greyhounds that have previously qualified for the final are ineligible to to compete in another heat. Reserves for the final will be drawn from the Goulburn Heats. If a greyhound becomes ineligible to compete in the final the next eligible greyhound from the series will take its place. Dead heats will be separated by ballot.

5th Grade Heats, minimum 12 nominations required for heats. Where less than 12 nominations are received, a 5th Grade stake for Best 8 greyhounds nominated + reserves will be run.
