General Information
Wentworth Park is the showpiece of greyhound racing in NSW with first class amenities including a two level grandstand, ensuring that every patron has an uninterrupted view of the entire track from any seat within the stand. Metropolitan racing occurs every Friday and Saturday throughout the entire year. Excellent facilities are available for patrons including a restaurant, bars, kiosks, function rooms, and indoor betting pavilion. The track has a loam surface and a cable lure system is in operation.
The Wentworth Park complex is located on Wentworth Park Road Glebe.

Trials
In the lead up to the Macro Meats Golden Easter Egg participants are advised of the following trial information: Wentworth Park trials every Monday (except Public Holidays). Standard trials operate from 6 -7.20pm with finish on trials booked from 7.25pm through the NSW GBOTA Head Office. Standard trials are also conducted after the last race at Friday Race Meetings. Standard trials are also available to trainers following the last race at Saturday night Race Meetings, provided the trainer has other greyhounds engaged at the said Race Meeting. Race Day Trials Friday & Saturday Nights after the last race field, hand slip and solo trials (no arm trials) will be conducted. Tickets must be purchased no later than race 8 from the Race Night Office. (Free entry to the track for participants who are trialling only, after race 6 on Friday nights only) Trainers wishing to trial on a Saturday must have a runner engaged in the respective Wentworth Park race meeting, while Friday’s after the last are open to all participants. Non Race Day Trials Monday Nights unless otherwise stated. (Monday trials are not held on Public Holidays BUT a session will be held on the Tuesday following in lieu - same times) Ordinary trials 6.00 to 7.20 pm Arm Trials 7.25pm - until booking are completed Arm trials must be booked - Please call NSW GBOTA Racing Department on (02) 9649 7166 Trial Prices (prices are GST inclusive) Field Trial - Up to 4 greyhounds per trial - $5.50 per greyhound Handslip - $11 Solo - $11 Trainers with multiple greyhounds to trial may now purchase a sole trainers trial, charged at $11 for up to 2 greyhounds, subsequent greyhounds in the same trial will be charged at $5.50 per greyhound, with a maximum of 4 greyhounds per trial. In coming weeks GRNSW will move to grading meetings on its new OzChase system. To coincide with this change GRNSW is moving to one combined NSW Grading Policy, rather than maintaining separate TAB and Non-TAB policies. Feedback on the changes, particularly as they relate to Non-TAB grading, is now called for.

GRNSW and TAFE NSW will launch the Certificate II - Greyhounds program in March. The program will provide new entrants to the greyhound racing industry with the skills and knowledge to further their career.
