Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) sadly advises that GRNSW North Coast Integrity Officer Ron Matthews passed away suddenly on Friday.
Mr Matthews had worked in the greyhound racing industry since 1977 when he became a Cadet Steward with the Greyhound Racing Control Board (GRCB).

He returned to NSW greyhound racing in 2008 when he took on the role of North Coast Integrity Officer.
The thoughts of GRNSW are with family and friends of Mr Matthews.
Mr Matthews funeral will be held at 11am on Wednesday 19 September at the Lismore Memorial Gardens Crematorium, Skyline Rd, Goonellabah.
The funeral will be followed by a wake at Lismore GBOTA, 1 Molesworth St, Lismore.
