Non-race day testing of samples collected from greyhounds prior to racing is a service offered to the industry to help trainers determine the suitability of a greyhound for competition.
The service is offered for long acting veterinary therapeutic drugs (with corresponding long periods of detection) and is limited to anabolic steroids, corticosteroids and procaine.
