The Greyhound Racing Act 2009 confers on GRNSW the function of initiating, developing and implementing policies considered conducive to the promotion, strategic development and welfare of the greyhound racing industry in NSW.
GRNSW is committed to the development of a vibrant metropolitan racing sector that is considered to be the premier metropolitan greyhound racing arena in Australia.
The purpose of this policy is to clearly outline the guiding principles for the conduct of metropolitan greyhound racing in NSW.

As trainers are becoming more familiar with the OzChase system GRNSW is expanding the ability to nominate directly into races. These are known as ‘Race Events’ in the online nomination portal and instructions on how to nominate directly can be found in the link below.
