Blue Paws

The NSW Blue Paws is a breeders’ and owners incentive scheme designed to provide incentives for owners to breed and race greyhounds in NSW. Blue Paws bonuses are paid on selected races throughout NSW.

The breeder or owner of the pup is entitled to nominate a greyhound into the scheme at either 6 months or 10 months of age. The cost of nominating your greyhound for NSW Blue Paws is $44 for greyhounds up to and including 6 months of age, and $110 for greyhounds over 6 months and up to and including 10 months.

Prizemoney

The amount of prize money can vary depending on what track the greyhound races, with additional prize money available in feature races.

Total Prize money paid during 2006/2007 in NSW was $14,827,485.
